Large-scale reconstruction to begin at Manas International Airport

Manas International Airport is preparing for an important stage of its development. A large-scale reconstruction of the air terminal complex aimed at improving the convenience and quality of passenger service will start soon. The press service of the airport reported.

At the moment, the airport infrastructure occupies an area of about 39,000 square meters. During the upcoming works, the complex will be expanded by additional 18,000 square meters. This will significantly improve conditions for passengers and optimize the work of terminals.

As part of the reconstruction, it is planned to increase the number of check-in desks, expand the waiting area, create modern recreation and catering areas. New technological solutions will also be introduced to improve the efficiency of the airport and customer experience.

One of the key elements of modernization will be the construction of a modern skywalk — a covered passage that will connect the main buildings of the airport. This convenient corridor will provide passengers with protection from the weather and allow them to move faster between terminals, making their stay at the airport even more comfortable.

According to Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC, the reconstruction will enable the airport to meet high international standards. «Large-scale reconstruction of Manas Airport is a step forward in the development of aviation infrastructure of Kyrgyzstan, which will allow to meet world standards and provide comfortable conditions for passengers and airlines,» he concluded.
