Public transport drivers were fined over 4 million soms in two days. The press service of the Main Traffic Safety Department reported.
The department’s employees conducted raids called «Public Transport». They checked buses and minibuses carrying passengers.
As a result, 2,630 public transport drivers were identified, who exceeded the speed limit while transporting passengers, drove into the oncoming lane, and had defective technical condition of buses. Some of the documents did not meet licensing requirements, individual drivers installed illegal equipment on the bus, incorrectly picked up and dropped off passengers, obstructed other drivers at bus stops, and violated other traffic rules.
The total amount of fines imposed reached 4,182 million soms.
