Chief Specialist of Antimonopoly Service detained for extortion

The Chief Specialist of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service was caught red-handed when taking a bribe in Jalal-Abad region. The press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.

It was found out that she extorted money from Jalal-Abad State Residence state institution at the Department of Presidential Affairs for passing the procedure of approval of the price list (tariffs) for certain services.

A criminal case has been initiated under article 343 «Extortion» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. An investigation is underway.
