February 23 is a day off in Kyrgyzstan. The Cabinet of Ministers informed uzsushi.com news agency.
It was announced at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers at the end of December that it is planned to cancel the celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day (February 23), April Revolution Day (April 7) and Days of History and Memory of Ancestors (November 7-8) in Kyrgyzstan.
«The issue is still being discussed. So February 23 will be a day off this year,» the Cabinet noted.
